Pete Clay is a
full-time real estate professional. Prior to joining
Solid Source Realty, Pete was affiliated with French
Properties, also located in Cumming and specializing
in Lake Lanier properties. Following that agency's
closing, he was affiliated with a "traditional" ,
corporate-owned real estate company in the same
market. Going back further, he also had a
long-term career as a senior executive with a
large firm in New York City, and has owned and
operated a management consulting company as
well.
Personal
investments in recreational real estate in various
areas of the country have been very rewarding and
remain a focus. Pete's interests include golf and
power boating, so that primary residence in one of
Forsyth County's beautiful gated golf communities,
not more than 15 minutes from Lake Lanier, proves to
be the perfect lifestyle combination! Pete also owns
properties in other states, primarily for winter
skiing, the one activity obviously not available
close to Forsyth County! An intense desire to
satisfy the needs and desires of the customer/client
has always been Pete's objective, and his
gratification is derived from successfully
meeting that challenge.
Pete says, "I love working with buyers and
sellers, but I do have many interests
outside the business of selling real estate.
Fortunately, at least two of the major outdoor
activities I have a passion for, power boating
and golf, enhance my knowledge of property
features and availability in the market area.
All the more excuse to get out on the courses or
Lake Lanier at every opportunity! The long
boating season on Lake Lanier keeps my 30'

whenever time permits. A ski home out-of-state
serves as a get-away, particularly for my wife,
a winter sports enthusiast. I have owned
numerous lake and mountain properties, and will
always savor the memory of every moment there
with family and friends."
